1982 Redline PL-20 Carrera

The Carrera was basically a Proline with one difference. The rear dropouts were brazed. So the finish is smooth. This was not sold as a frame set but only as a complete bike. The brazed frames came from Japan while the regular Proline’s were still made in the USA. In 1982 the Carrera came with the new Flight Cranks that now offered a pinch bolt.

  1. The PL20 was available as a frame set, I had one. It had the tapered forks and was longer than the 600A pictured above.
